with Erica Hart and Pablo Fierro
Unreliable narrator Scotty “Smalls” describes the exaggeratedly idyllic greatest summer of his life when all the neighborhood kids and even his stepdad loved him as he gets into the biggest pickle of his life. We also meet the oldest dog known to mankind! Our friend Rachel joins us to discuss.

Will Smith is his own worst enemy when he agrees to star in Boyz II Gemini Men, a reflection of a simulacrum of a copy of a clone of a movie. Join us as we dive into this genre dump of half-assed tropes and unsatisfying sci-fi thriller action.

Whether you’re stuck at home because you’ve displeased the Spirit of Christmas or you photographed a car race overzealously, we can all relate to the common thread of how isolation makes us question the nature of our reality. Listen on as we touch on everything from slapstick violence to the mystery of Plato’s cave and as a trio of angels, a sculptor in Texas, Grace Kelly, and the film-within-a-film of Angels with Filthy Souls or a lonely old man watch over our protagonists.

Meet our hero, Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones, a cruel, unethical, and misogynistic archeologist in the business to loot artifacts and take lives in his endless quest to gain tenure in this unfortunate prequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark. Marvel as George Lucas and Steven Spielberg perfect their vision of 1931 serial revivals by adding the essential missing ingredient: hardcore racism. And let’s face it: Shortround is the real hero here.
Joining us this episode is amateur Indiana Jones expert, Ada-Janet Cuadrado.

Ahh 23! We’re racing to the finish line in Rat Race, the prequel to Ratatouille, as the Baja Men and Smash Mouth blast us back to the long-gone days of the early 2000s. We watched the mild gagfest throwback known as Rat Race.

Welcome to the EL James Cinematic Universe in which bad BDSM softcore can somehow make 571 schmillion dollars and we suspend our disbelief that two actors with no chemistry would want to have sex together.
This episode contains more sex references than usual and the plot discussed does contain an abusive Master/Slave relationship.

We wet our whistle on the hottest summer blockbuster of 2019; that’s right, we saw Kevin Costner’s Waterworld, a swashbuckling adventure on the post-apocalyptic high seas featuring fleets of jet skis, a very grumpy merman, and offensive gender politics. Almost as enjoyable as converting your own urine into potable water.
